My Stay at Sindhorn Midtown Bangkok

During my trip to Thailand, I stayed at Sindhorn Midtown Bangkok, located in the heart of the city.

Sindhorn Midtown Hotel is situated in central Bangkok, making it an ideal location for sightseeing and travel around the city.

I visited the front desk to check in.
At the front, guests complete the check-in procedure and confirm their reservation by providing an email. A deposit of around 6,000 THB is charged on top of the room rate, which is fully refundable upon checkout if there are no issues.

I made my reservation through the hotel’s official website and was a registered member, which gave me extra benefits and a room upgrade.
It seems these perks were provided due to my weekday stay and multiple nights as a member.

To access the room, you need to tap the key card in the elevator, which allows access only to the assigned floor.

The room I stayed in was equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities, making it suitable for longer stays.

All the basic amenities were well-prepared and clean.
However, the mini bar is not recommended—it’s quite pricey compared to the convenience store right outside the hotel.

The in-room washing machine was particularly convenient. In Bangkok, it’s common for clothes to get damp from heat or rain, so having a washer was a huge plus.
Laundry detergent is provided upon request at the front desk.

There were more dishes and kitchen utensils than I expected.
However, there were no chopsticks, so I recommend bringing your own if needed.
An induction cooktop and pots were also provided for simple cooking.

The bed was comfortable, and the sofa provided extra seating and relaxation space.

The room TV provided information about room service and available amenities.
That said, there wasn’t much to watch. Only KBS was available among Korean channels, and I couldn’t get Netflix or YouTube to connect.
If you plan to watch anything, I suggest bringing a tablet or iPad.

My room was on a higher floor, so the view from the window was quite nice.

The room also included an ironing board and bathrobes, which were useful during the stay.

The bathroom was clean and equipped with all necessary amenities.

There are shared facilities such as a gym and swimming pool on the middle floors.

The gym had water dispensers, disposable sanitizing wipes, and towels available.
The pool appeared to be well-maintained, clean, and comfortable.

By the pool, there was a snack bar and swimming towels were available for guest use.

There is a designated smoking area outside the hotel lobby.
Smoking and durian are strictly prohibited inside the guest rooms.

I included breakfast in my reservation, so I was able to enjoy the hotel’s breakfast menu.
It was impressive to see a wide variety of international dishes that changed daily.

Upon being seated, staff would take drink orders, and for dishes that take longer to prepare, you can mark your selection on a menu card, and they’ll bring it to your table.
If you're in a hurry, they also offer take-out drinks in disposable cups.

In terms of price, service, and comfort, I was very satisfied with this hotel.
Its central location made it easy to travel anywhere in Bangkok, and having a convenience store right out front made it simple to grab snacks and essentials.

The quality and taste of the breakfast were better than expected, and the staff were professional and friendly.

If I have the chance to visit Bangkok again, I would definitely stay at Sindhorn Midtown Bangkok once more.
